Northwestern Lacrosse game

Over the weekend I went with some of my lacrosse team mates to Northwestern to see their girl's lacrosse team play.  They are absolutely amazing!  It was their last game of the season, not including the playoffs and all that, but they have won EVERY SINGLE GAME! To me, that is unbelievable.  That's 16 or 17 games!  On saturday, the game that we went to, they played Penn State.  The first half went back and forth between us winning, and then them.  It was intense.  In the end, it ended up being a score of 11 to 9 i believe.  I thought that going to a game was a really cool experience for us and a great chance to see a GREAT team play.  

This year, my lacrosse team is pretty good!  Last year we only won one game, but this year we are 6-3.  We were 5-0 for a while, but we had a losing streak of three games. Our last game we won so hopefully we can win the rest of them!  There are only about 2 more weeks to the season and I hope we end just like Northwestern.  

superbowl

Every year my family and I watch the Superbowl together. I'm not the biggest football fan, but i can understand whats going on during the game and i know most of the rules. Every year i base who i root for by which place i like better. This year, i hope Arizona wins because I like it there better than Pittsburgh. Another reason why i love the Superbowl is because of all the food! Everyone gets together we always have taco dip with chips, shrimp, and a bunch of other stuff. The last reason why i love the Superbowl is because of the commercials! They are so funny and entertaining. They always give my family and me something to do during the game breaks.

winter break

My winter break was amazing. It felt so good to catch up on sleep, not have to worry about anything, be able to hang out with friends all the time, go to bed late, and a whole bunch of other things. Over my break I saw a couple of movies. I saw the movie Twilight twice, Four Christmases, Hit Man, and a couple more I can't remember. I went out to dinner one night for sushi at a restaurant called Ra. Another day, I went out to breakfast at a place called Eggsperience. My New Years was good too. I went over to a friend's house with some other friends and we all celebrated together. The worst part of my break was Sunday night. It felt horrible to have to know that the next morning I needed to get back into routine and school was starting again. I miss break!

Christmas

Even though winter is my least favorite season, I absolutely love the holidays! Going outside and driving at night is probably one of my favorite things. I love just looking out the window at all the houses with the colorful lights and trees decorated. When the snow falls it makes this look so much better.
When i was little, i didn't really believe in Santa. Every year my family goes to my grandparents house and Santa used to come. I always used to know that it was my grandpa or one of their friends dressed up. We still continue the tradition of going to their house, but Santa doesn't come anymore. After dinner we all go sit in the living room near the tree. My brother does the job of handing out everyone's presents and once everyone has theirs, we open them. Christmas is my favorite holiday.
